 Hello Readers, This past weekend was the end of Sing 2024. We were fortunate enough to receive an invitation to Pigskin in the fall. For those who do not know, Pigskin is a homecoming tradition in which the top 8 acts from Sing perform their acts once again at four shows during homecoming weekend. It is an honor to be selected but an even bigger honor to have received 2nd place overall as well as peoples choice for best choreography! We got first place last year and to place again is crazy! As of right now, we have the longest streak of invitations to Pigkin (9 years) in comparison to other acts streaks, the next behind us is 3 years. It is so cool to be lead by people I love and lookup to and I am proud to be Chi Omega because of the excellence the women of this chapter uphold.  Till next year Sing! Best, Sydney

  Hello Readers! I am now writing to you after completing our first weekend of shows! Thankfully, we have received positive feedback and look forward to performing 3 more times! Chi Omega's theme is......Caught red-handed! We are portraying the story of Red Riding Hood but in our act, Red Riding saves the day and the wolf gets caught! I get to play a wolf in our act and it is so fun playing this part. Sing is a great time to meet new people, create deeper bonds, and enjoy my sorority more than I already do. Thankful to be a part of this act and looking forward to this weekend! Crossing my fingers that we get to go to Pigskin in the fall. Best, Sydney

Hello Readers! It is finally show week and I am so excited and nervous and feeling all the things! We have a busy week ahead with 2 nights of practices, full tech rehearsal, dress rehearsal, and 3 nights of shows. I am not looking forward to wearing make-up that many times but hey, it is so worth it! I am so excited because my mom is coming on Friday so it will be restful spending time with her.   Hello Readers, You know what they say, time flies when you are having fun! I am having a blast this year with all things Sing. I cannot believe we are a week out from show week. We have our Audio Tech rehearsal tomorrow, and I am so excited because I love hearing our vocalists sing! We run the act about 5 times through and although it is tiring - I would not want to do it with any other chapter! I am excited for dress rehearsal next week because not only do people watch our act but we get to watch their act as well! Until then, have a great week and I'll see ya next week! Best, Sydney
